This adapter fitting allows connection between two different thread types. The AutoMeter 2273 is an aluminum adapter that converts from a 5/8" -18 UNF female thread (which connects directly to the sealing nut on mechanical temperature gauges) to a 1/2-1/16" NPT male thread. The fitting is finished in red.
