Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, the BDS 6-inch lift kit for the 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4WD is a must have upgrade.

For maximum ground clearance, BDS designed a No Torsion Bar Drop System where the torsion bars are mounted directly to the top of the lower a-arm eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member. This kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 35 inch Tires.

This kit takes advantage of BDS's tried and true high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and offroad protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for great on-road handling characteristics.

Up front, the kit utilizes torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers along with a multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates built for offroad protection.

Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These combined with the provided sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it.

In the rear BDS offers both replacement lift block and full Glide-Ride leaf spring options to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also for the rear are new u-bolts, brake line brackets and precision tuned NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.

High Clearance Crossmembers

BDS maximizes ground clearance with their heavy duty 1/4-inch thick laser cut perfect fit crossmembers. Paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to create a rigid subframe while adding extra protection.

Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles

BDS corrects steering geometry at the new taller ride height using a pair of high-strength, CNC machined ductile cast iron steering knuckle design to work with factory tie rod ends to maintain steering angles for proper function..

1. Torsion Bar tool required to load/unload the torsion bars.
2. Some welding is required.
3. Requires frame bracket modification and differential mount modification.
4. Traction bars will NOT fit standard cab/short box models and are designed to work on vehicles with 4 Inch to 8 Inch of lift. Will NOT work on long bed models.
5. 20 Inch wheels with 5 Inch to 5-3/4 Inch backspacing are recommended to reduce trimming.
6. Gas models require exhaust modification.
7. The narrow track knuckle will slightly increase the turning radius.
8. For tail high stance use #119157 add-a-leaf with the block kit or #069207 with the leaf spring kit.
9. Dually applications will require custom u-bolts.
10. Leaf spring option does not work with the SUV's.

Track Width Option - Narrow Track Knuckle

This system is available with two different knuckle designs. The standard knuckle widens the track width, but does not affect the turning radius. The narrow track knuckle reduces the total track width change by about 1.5 Inch overall but does increase the turning radius slightly.
