This folding shackle mount replaces conventional winch hooks and provides a safer, stronger connection point for recovery winches. Factor 55 part number 00050-06 is engineered to mount a standard 3/4 inch screw pin or soft shackle to existing winch cable and rope eyes while laying flat against the fairlead. The design prevents strap ends from escaping during slack cycles and works with steel cables or synthetic ropes up to 3/8 inch in diameter.
