This muffler, the Flowmaster 42582, uses a cross-flow 80 series design with an inlet and outlet at each end for transverse mounting applications. Fits the 1985-1987 Buick Regal; the 1967-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird; the 1969-1974 Chevrolet Nova; and the 1968 Chevrolet Chevy II. Constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded, the unit features a two-chamber design that delivers an aggressive exhaust sound both inside and outside the vehicle, producing noticeable interior resonance.
