Replacing worn Dana 44 rear axles, the Revolution Gear Discovery Series kit DC-D44-XJ-3 is built from 4140 chromoly steel with 30-spline shafts sized for drum brake applications. Fits the 1984–1991 and 1993–1996 Jeep Cherokee, and the 1984–1990 Jeep Wagoneer. Bearings, seals, and retainers arrive pressed together and ready to install, and the kit includes 10 wheel studs that ship uninstalled for safer transport. Wheel studs require Red Loctite and must be torqued to 90 ft-lbs at installation.
