This air-operated locking differential carrier, the Yukon Gear YZLD30-4-27, fits Dana Spicer 30 axles with 27 spline shafts and is compatible with 3.73 and up ratios only. Fits 28 Jeep, Ford, International, Volvo and 3 other makes vehicles from 1966 to 2017, including the 1987–1995 and 1997–2017 Jeep Wrangler and the 2001–2010 Ford Explorer. Full vehicle list below. It switches from an open differential to 100% lockup on demand and works with a variety of air delivery systems. Built from steel with a forged case and 8620 internals, it is assembled in the USA and includes new carrier bearings. The unit is drilled for 7/16" ring gear bolts; if used in an application with 3/8" ring gear bolts, use the included YSPBLT-027 sleeves to space the bolts. Requires SK SSM35 carrier shims.
