Parts that fit your Mitsubishi Eclipse, by department.
Mitsubishi Eclipse
Parts fit 1990 to 2012. Owner reports cover 1996 to 2025, mapped to 1 NHTSA name, so vehicles of very different ages are counted together.
62 of 76 parts name an engine. The other 10 fit any, so choosing one here only narrows those 62.
What owners report
6 of 12 components, the largest by share, together 60.1% of all mentions. 1,802 reports filed with NHTSA from 1996 to 2025, read through 15 name and year queries against 1 source name. A report can name more than one component, so these 1,802 reports carry 2,251 mentions, 1.25 for each report, and every share below is of those 2,251. 64 more mentions were filed as unknown or other and are excluded from both the rows and the total.
What we can sell for it
76 parts from 31 brands fit this vehicle across 7 categories, and parts listed here fit model years 1990 to 2012. Exhaust Systems is the deepest at 50 parts from 9 brands. 3 of the 6 components above map to a category we stock, and the other 3 map to none.
Where the two lists meet
Each row pairs a reported component with the shelf that answers it, deepest complaint first.
Wheels is the largest single complaint on this vehicle at 14.0%.
Wheels are 14.0% of reports and we stock no parts in Tires & Wheels for it.
What the complaints table says
Wheels tops the Eclipse complaint list at 14.0%, just ahead of Service Brakes at 13.5%.
Structure follows at 9.7%, then Power Train at 8.7%.
The list is drawn from NHTSA, the federal agency where owners file a written report about a vehicle problem.
Engine and Engine Cooling and Air Bags round out the six rows, at 7.5% and 6.7%.
A 14.0% share on Wheels means that's what owners raised most, not something built into your own Eclipse.
What the parts table says
Exhaust Systems is the deepest shelf here, 50 parts across 9 brands.
Drivetrain & Transmission adds another 8 parts, matching a row on the left.
Interior Accessories and Electrical Parts sit outside anything owners reported, at 5 and 5 parts.
Wheels leads every complaint at 14.0%, yet we stock nothing in Tires & Wheels for it.
