For medium displacement engines, the AP Exhaust 642259 is a Federal and EPA direct-fit catalytic converter featuring a metallic substrate housed in stainless steel. Fits the 2000-2004 Toyota Avalon, and the 1999-2001 Lexus ES300 with the 3L V6. This 35 inch long converter presents dual welded flange inlet connections and a welded flange outlet, all designed for secure and lasting fastening to the exhaust system. Two inlet gaskets are provided with each inlet connection to seal against the engine block and prevent exhaust leaks. This converter operates without oxygen sensor ports, making it fully compatible with simpler emissions systems that require only basic catalytic conversion.
