For exhaust emissions control systems requiring direct-fit replacement converters, the AP Exhaust 772431 is a CARB-compliant converter built to exact OE dimensions. Fits the 1996-1997 Honda Accord with the 2.2L L4. The converter incorporates a ceramic substrate within stainless steel construction to oxidize and reduce exhaust gases passing through the emissions system. Installation is enabled by a single inlet connection with a 2-bolt welded flange and a single outlet connection with a 3-bolt welded flange configuration. A single oxygen sensor port provides real-time emissions system monitoring and diagnostics.
