This adapter fitting mounts water temperature gauge senders or probes directly into radiator hose when engine water passage ports are not easily accessible. The AutoMeter part 2282 works with all mechanical, full sweep, and short sweep electric temperature gauges. It connects 1" and 1.25" radiator hose sizes with a 3/8" NPT female threaded port and includes a 3/8" NPT adapter for mechanical AutoMeter temperature gauges.
