The AutoMeter 6896 is a 5" pedestal tachometer measuring 127mm that displays engine RPM from 0-9000 rpm with electric air-core movement and LED lighting. This Ultimate series gauge is designed for competition and performance vehicles, monitoring engine speed to optimize shift points and protect engine integrity. The tachometer is compatible with 12v and 16v electrical systems and works with engines up to 12 cylinder, providing data recording that is 30% lighter than the prior Ultimate II designs. Installation includes sensor unit ST269532, adapter 5259, mounting hardware, and features a black dial with brushed aluminum bezel and fluorescent red pointer.
