A front bump steer kit with CNC billet aluminum HD heim joints, part number 2561 from BBK Performance, corrects the tendency of wheels to toe-in or toe-out as the suspension compresses and extends during normal driving. Fits the 1979-1993 Ford Mustang. Bump steer occurs when suspension geometry causes the wheels to steer independently of driver input, which becomes pronounced when a vehicle is lowered. This kit adjusts the height of the outer tie-rod relative to the steering rack to restore proper front-end geometry and handling characteristics.
