At 3/8 inch thick, the BBK Performance 1506 is a CNC machined phenolic intake manifold spacer kit that cuts heat transfer from the lower intake manifold to the upper air intake manifold, yielding cooler, denser intake air for increased horsepower and reduced detonation with more timing advance. Fits the 1986–1995 Ford Mustang. Machined from lightweight phenolic composite, the spacer also raises intake height to clear many aftermarket valve covers and gain additional manifold-to-valve-cover clearance. Two gaskets, one upper and one lower, and all required hardware are included.
