This in-line coolant filter kit from BD Diesel (part number 1032121) prevents engine damage caused by coolant blockage in the oil to coolant heat exchanger. Fits the 2003–2007 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, the 2004–2007 Ford E-350 Super Duty, and the 2003–2005 Ford Excursion. A white talcum powder present in new engines speeds up coolant breakdown, creating a slurry that blocks heat exchanger passages and causes dangerous temperature spikes. The spin-on filter with bypass valve mounts easily along the engine coolant hoses to remove this debris before it causes damage.
