Impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum forms the 2.5-inch body of the BDS Suspension FOX98762001, a bolt-on Suspension Shock Absorber Kit built around FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO technology. A Type II clear-anodized finish dissipates heat and resists corrosion, while an internal floating piston (IFP) separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen to optimize damping. Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology delivers position-sensitive rebound damping by routing shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow shaft speed, reducing harsh top-outs and improving comfort, especially after fitting heavier tires or lifting beyond OEM height. This shock reuses the existing OE spring and works with vehicle-specific valving and larger pistons for improved on- and off-road performance. Fits the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco.
