The plastic cover on certain BMW engine water pumps is known to crack over time and cause the pump to leak coolant. If you need to replace your pump, you don't want to run the risk of it failing that way in the future. This Dorman OE FIX solution upgrades the pump housing and hardware to robust aluminum to help extend service life. It also has an updated circuit board design that increases reliability. This improved replacement has undergone rigorous laboratory and on-vehicle road testing, proving it matches OEM performance.
- Upgraded replacement - this water pump features a more robust aluminum housing, improving on the crack-prone plastic design that comes stock on certain BMW vehicles
- Enhanced electronics - features an updated printed circuit board (PCB), with purposefully designed circuits, that seamlessly integrates with the factory engine control module
- Rigorously tested - laboratory and on-vehicle road testing includes validation of dimensions, connector fitment, flow rates and thermal shock durability
