Dorman 600-240XD Transfer Case Oil Pump Motor

The 4WD transfer case on certain Nissan Armadas and Pathfinders is lubricated by a recirculating oil pump with a DC motor that's prone to failure after only a few thousand hours, resulting in driveline noise and ultimately, a failed transfer case. That premature - and costly - failure often occurs when the brushes in the transfer case's original equipment DC motor burn out, shutting down the pump that keeps the transfer case lubricated. This Dorman OE FIX transfer case oil pump uses a brushless DC motor instead of a brushed motor, eliminating the typical cause of failure.
