The original equipment wiper transmission on certain BMW vehicles fails when the crimped plastic linkage becomes brittle over time and cracks, potentially causing damage to the vehicle when the wiper blade disengages. This Dorman OE FIX wiper transmission features a sturdy steel linkage that better withstands the elements and mechanical stress placed on the transmission assembly, providing longer service life and preventing the wipers from becoming inoperable at an inopportune time.
- Upgraded replacement - instead of the plastic linkage on the factory wiper transmission, this wiper transmission has a sturdy steel linkage that better withstands the elements and mechanical stress
- Perfect fit - this wiper transmission is designed to exacting specifications for a seamless, trouble-free installation on specified BMW vehicles
- Protects vehicle - engineered to help prevent the wiper blade from contacting the vehicle
- Trustworthy quality - designed in the United States and backed by more than a century of automotive aftermarket excellence
