The Dorman 609-040 is a remanufactured transmission kick-down module that restores proper transmission shifting and performance when the original solenoid fails or becomes defective. Fits 16 Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Mitsubishi and other vehicles from 1999 to 2018, including the 2011-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 and the 2011-2017 Ram 1500. Full vehicle list below. This module features a blade terminal type with a male connector and round shape, measuring 23 millimeters in length. The unit requires scan tool programming during installation for proper operation.
