Connecting the transmission to the rear axles through a lightweight aluminum shaft, the Dorman 946-019 is a standard replacement driveshaft engineered for efficient and smooth power transfer throughout the vehicle's complete drivetrain. Fits the 1992-1999 Chevrolet C2500 Suburban and GMC C2500 Suburban. The assembly features a 4 inch diameter aluminum shaft and 76.625 inches in overall length, manufactured with 0.087 inch wall thickness for strength and structural rigidity. Incorporating a slip yoke on one end and a universal joint on the other, the driveshaft includes factory-installed CV joints and ships fully assembled with dynamic pre-balancing, ready for installation.
