Dorman 949-700XD Magnetic Ride Control Shock

A front magnetic shock absorber with electronic damping adjustment, the Dorman 949-700XD provides suspension control for vehicles equipped with active magnetic ride control systems. Fits the 2015-2020 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LD and GMC Sierra 1500 Limited, and the 2015-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra and Sierra 1500. This single-tube steel strut measures 442 millimeters in extended length and 165 millimeters in compressed length, with a 50-millimeter diameter and 128-millimeter travel range for full suspension articulation. The shock features adjustable damping with a progressive valve design to optimize performance across various driving conditions and road surfaces. Black painted finish and steel construction provide durability, while the T-Bar lower mount and screw-on upper mount configuration support proper fitment and installation. Mounting hardware comes included, though coil-over springs, dust shields, and upper mounting isolators are not included with this replacement.
