As a replacement for a worn or damaged driveshaft, the Dorman 976-024 connects the transmission to the rear axle. Fits the 2007-2009 Chrysler Aspen, and the 2004-2009 Dodge Durango. Manufactured from seamless steel tubing, the assembly measures 56.25 inches in length with a shaft diameter of 3.5 inches and a wall thickness of 0.083 inches. One end of the assembly features a slip yoke for transmission connection, while the opposite end uses a bolt-on design for attachment to the rear axle. The complete assembly arrives ready to install without requiring additional assembly. This is a standard replacement driveshaft with a limited warranty, though CV joints and an axle nut are not included.
