An aluminum driveshaft manufactured to original equipment specifications, the Dorman 976-272 provides a lightweight replacement for standard steel shafts. Fits the 2000-2003 Ford F-150, the 2002-2003 Ford F-150 King Ranch, F-150 Lariat and F-150 XLT, and the 1997-1999 Ford F-250 with the 5.4L V8. This 77.875-inch assembly features a 4-inch shaft diameter with 0.083-inch wall thickness and is constructed from aluminum. One end is a slip yoke and the other is bolt-on design. The shaft arrives fully assembled and dynamically balanced for immediate installation. CV joints and the axle nut are not included. The overall length is adjustable. The shaft is made from 100% new components. One driveshaft is included.
