A driveshaft connects the transmission to the rear axle and transmits engine power to drive the wheels. Fits the 2007-2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD. The Dorman 976-509 is a steel replacement driveshaft 106.125 inches long with a 3.5-inch diameter and 0.083-inch wall thickness, covered by a limited warranty. It features a slip yoke on one end and a universal joint on the other, with the overall length adjustable for fitting different vehicle configurations. CV joints and axle nuts are not included and must be obtained separately. The shaft arrives fully assembled and dynamically balanced for installation.
