An EPA-compliant, Federal direct-fit catalytic converter featuring ECO II catalyst technology, the Eastern Catalytic 30318 is designed for compact vehicle emission control. Fits the 1998-1999 and 2001-2002 Ford Escort SE; the 1997-2000 Ford Escort LX; the 1997-1999 Mercury Tracer; and the 1997 Ford Escort Base and Escort Sport with the 2L L4. This converter incorporates a single O2 sensor port and uses 4-bolt welded inlet connections combined with 2-bolt welded outlet connections, each secured with gaskets for proper sealing. Backed by a comprehensive 60-month warranty, the unit delivers emissions control while maintaining engine performance.
