Emissions control in the exhaust system is the function of the Eastern Catalytic 30353, a direct-fit undercar converter with ECO II catalyst technology for large trucks. Fits the 1998-2001 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer with the 5.0L V8. The converter features dual O2 sensor ports and 2-bolt loose flange connections at both inlet and outlet. The inlet uses a female flare connection and the outlet uses a male ball connection for fitment. Manufactured in the United States, the converter carries a 60-month warranty and is not CARB certified.
