Converting exhaust gases through EPA-compliant catalytic chemistry before they reach the main converter, the Eastern Catalytic 40377 is a Federal direct-fit pre-catalytic converter designed for straightforward bolt-on installation without welding. Fits the 1999-2001 Nissan Frontier, and the 2000-2001 Nissan Xterra with the 3.3L V6. The ECO II catalyst type delivers efficient emissions control and includes a single oxygen sensor port for continuous exhaust monitoring throughout operation. The converter features 3 bolt welded flange connections at inlet and outlet locations, with the outlet gasket included for proper sealing while no inlet gasket is required.
