Equipped with ECO II catalyst technology for pre-catalytic converter applications, the Eastern Catalytic 40604 is a Federal/EPA direct-fit pre-cat converter built for replacement exhaust systems. Fits the 2003-2006 Hyundai Santa Fe with the 3.5L V6. The converter connects via a 5-bolt welded flange at the inlet and a 2-bolt welded flange at the outlet, providing secure mounting points. With zero oxygen sensor ports for emissions monitoring and no inlet gasket required during installation, the pre-cat incorporates one outlet gasket to ensure proper sealing at the outlet connection. Inlet and outlet hardware must be purchased separately to complete the assembly.
