For replacement in undercar catalytic converter applications, the Eastern Catalytic 40998 is a Federal EPA-compliant converter featuring two oxygen sensor ports for comprehensive emissions monitoring. Fits the 2008-2009 Mitsubishi Outlander with the 2.4L L4. The converter uses an ECO III catalyst substrate and includes 2 mounting clamps for secure installation on the vehicle. Assembly requires 1 inlet gasket and 1 outlet gasket. Both inlet and outlet connections feature 2-bolt welded flanges. No inlet or outlet fastening hardware is provided. Not CARB certified, the converter is manufactured in the United States.
