This throttle cable adapter plate repositions your stock cable bracket to align with an Edelbrock carburetor throttle arm. Fits 11 Ford and Mercury vehicles from 1970 to 1978, including the 1970–1974 and 1977–1978 Ford Ranchero and the 1972–1974 Ford Gran Torino. Full vehicle list below. The Edelbrock 1493 is designed for cable-activated throttle systems with automatic transmission kickdown rods. The bracket mounts to the intake manifold and works alongside the Edelbrock throttle lever adapter kit to simplify throttle cable installation.
