Mandrel-bent from 16-gauge aluminized steel tubing, the Flowmaster 1078 is a 4.00-inch Turbo Downpipe built to replace the often crimped and restrictive factory 3.50-inch turbo downpipe on the 7.3L Powerstroke engine. Fits the 1999–2003 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty. It connects directly to the turbocharger flange using a V-Band connection for a direct-fit installation. The larger diameter tubing delivers unrestricted flow, improving power, torque, throttle response, and fuel mileage while also reducing heat build-up.
