This Flowmaster 942553 muffler uses a three chamber design with Delta Flow technology and an internal tuning chamber to reduce sound inside the vehicle while maintaining the same performance and exterior tone as a two chamber design. Fits 13 Pontiac, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and 1 other makes vehicles from 1967 to 1988, including the 1978-1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and the 1979 and 1985-1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon. Full vehicle list below. The unit is constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and is fully MIG welded for durability. It provides improved horsepower, torque and engine efficiency with mild interior resonance.
