Built from lightweight steel and aluminum with a black powdercoat finish, the Ford Performance Hood Lift Support Assembly M-16826-MA uses gas-charged struts rated at 90 pounds to hold an OEM or specialty hood firmly in the raised position. Once the hood begins to lift, the system takes over and holds it there without wind or accidental bumping causing it to fall. The hardware features a laser engraved Ford Performance logo.
