This FOX 980-24-648 is a 2.0 Performance Series shock absorber with application-specific valving to maximize off-road capability while maintaining on-road comfort. Fits the 1998-2013 Ford Ranger. The aluminum body dissipates heat faster than steel and uses an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas. Race-proven damping control provides predictable handling in tough conditions.
