With a compressed length of 15.85 in and an extended length of 24.97 in, the FOX Shocks 980-24-679 is a 2.0 Performance Series smooth body shock absorber designed for rear fitment with a 2-3 in lift. The aluminum body dissipates heat faster than steel, and an internal floating piston (IFP) separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas for consistent, fade-resistant damping. Valving is tuned to the specific vehicle application, delivering a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling, and the shock carries a lifetime warranty. Fits the 2003-2024 Toyota 4Runner, and the 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
