A 2.0 Performance Series smooth body shock absorber from FOX Shocks, part 980-24-962, this unit delivers application-specific valving tuned for a 7-9" lift, providing a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling. Fits 17 Chevrolet, GMC and Hummer vehicles from 1999 to 2013, including the 2000-2013 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 and GMC Yukon XL 2500 and the 2001-2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Full vehicle list below. The 2-inch aluminum body dissipates heat faster than steel, while an internal floating piston (IFP) separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas for consistent, fade-resistant performance. Black anodized CNC machined aluminum components and a race-proven main piston complete the assembly, and every unit is fully serviceable and resistant to corrosion.
