Warranty Lifetime

Delivering race-proven damping control for comfortable on-road rides and predictable off-road handling in tough conditions, the FOX Performance Series 983-02-087 is a 2.0 IFP coil-over suspension shock absorber with a 4.6" designation. The aluminum body has a 2 in diameter, extends to 21.19 in, compresses to 16.60 in, and provides 4.59 in of travel through an eyelet bottom mount. The aluminum construction dissipates heat faster than steel, and the internal floating piston (IFP) separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas for consistent, fade-resistant performance. All components are fully serviceable and resistant to corrosion, and the unit carries a lifetime warranty.
