The FOX 985-02-147 is an aluminum coil-over shock absorber with a 2-inch diameter monotube body and an internal floating piston (IFP) reservoir that separates shock fluid from high-pressure nitrogen gas. Fits the 2021-2026 Ford F-150. Application-specific valving is tuned to balance off-road capability with on-road comfort while managing loads during towing. The aluminum construction dissipates heat efficiently and resists corrosion better than conventional steel designs.
