Replacing a front shock absorber with lift capability up to 1.5", the FOX Performance Series 985-24-171 is a 9.6" smooth-body, 2.0 unit built with an aluminum body that dissipates heat faster than steel. Fits the 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator, and the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler. An Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates oil from high-pressure nitrogen gas for consistent, fade-resistant damping, while application-specific valving and black anodized CNC machined aluminum components deliver both on-road comfort and predictable off-road handling. The shock carries a lifetime warranty and is fully serviceable and resistant to corrosion and harsh environments.
