FOX part number 987-24-001 is a Performance Series shock with a 2.5 inch impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body and application-specific valving designed for both on-road comfort and off-road handling. Fits the 2017-2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty. The shock features high-flow velocity-sensitive damping, an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate gas and oil, and a hydraulic top out (HTO) piston to control energy at full extension. Race-proven damping and a Type II clear-anodized finish deliver consistent performance while resisting corrosion in harsh environments.
