This performance shock absorber from FOX, model 987-24-017, uses application-specific valving and high-flow velocity-sensitive damping to deliver both on-road comfort and predictable off-road handling. Fits the 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator. The shock features a 2.5-inch extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body with Type II clear-anodized plating, a 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft, and an internal floating piston (IFP) with Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston. The design is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, and the aluminum construction provides corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
