Delivering race-proven damping control with application-specific valving, this FOX Performance Series shock absorber (part 987-24-041) uses a 2.5" impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body with a Type II clear-anodized finish to provide a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling. A 5/8" hard chrome shaft, internal floating piston (IFP), and Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston work together, with the IFP separating gas and oil for consistent, fade-resistant performance. The unit is fully rebuildable, re-tunable, and corrosion resistant, and it carries a lifetime warranty.
