FOX Performance Series 2.5-inch smooth body shock (part 987-24-042) delivers responsive suspension control through high-flow velocity-sensitive damping and hydraulic top-out technology designed for varied driving conditions. Built from impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum with Type II clear anodization and featuring a 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft, the shock provides durable, corrosion-resistant performance. With an internal floating piston (IFP) for consistent, fade-resistant damping, fully rebuildable and re-tunable design, and application-specific tuning, the shock combines control with extended service life.
