The FOX Performance Series shock model 987-24-049 features a 2.5 inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body with Type II clear-anodized plating, a 5/8 inch hard chrome shaft, high-flow velocity-sensitive damping, and an internal floating piston that separates gas and oil. A hydraulic top-out piston, corrosion-resistant construction, and full rebuildability ensure durability and long-term performance.
