This piston set from Mahle Motorsport, part number 930210840, comprises eight forged pistons made from 4032 aluminum alloy. Each piston features an inverted dome design with two valve reliefs and is supplied complete with floating steel pins, round wire clips, and piston rings. The pistons are engineered for a displacement of 357 cubic inches with a crown volume of negative 16.0cc.
The piston rings consist of three pieces per piston: a 1.0mm lower compression ring (9254 steel with phosphate coating), a 1.0mm upper compression ring (9254 steel with HV385 coating), and a 2.0mm oil control ring (chrome plated stainless steel with standard tension). The floating pin measures 23.55mm in diameter and 58.1mm in length, with a wall thickness of 0.168 inches and a mass of 118g. Each complete piston weighs 419g. The upper and lower compression rings are each 1.0mm thick; the oil control ring is 2.0mm thick.
