Catalytic converters filter exhaust emissions to meet EPA standards, reducing harmful pollutants before gases exit the system. Fits the 2001-2004 Subaru Outback with the 3L H6. The Walker Exhaust 54836 is a direct-fit replacement that integrates seamlessly with the existing exhaust system, featuring stainless steel construction throughout. It uses OE-style hangers, brackets, and heat shields for straightforward installation without requiring specialized welding or fabrication. The high-technology washcoat and precious metal loading deliver required emissions reduction to meet federal compliance. For OBDII vehicles, 1996 and newer.
