Serving as a replacement for the original catalytic converter, the Walker Exhaust 55312 is a stainless steel unit built for EPA compliance. Fits the 2001-2006 Kia Optima; the 2005 Hyundai Sonata GL; the 1999-2004 Hyundai Sonata; and the 2001-2002 Kia Magentis with the 2.4L L4. At 46.000 inches long with a 4.500-inch body height, 7.500-inch body width, and 13.750-inch body length, this large oval converter features a 3-bolt welded inlet and 2-bolt welded outlet. The direct-fit design includes OE-style hangers, brackets, and heat shields for installation without specialized fabrication. Its OE-style washcoat and precious metal load reduce tailpipe emissions to the level needed. OBDII vehicles from 1996 forward are compatible.
