With a 3.5-inch inlet and 6-inch outlet inside diameter, the Walker Exhaust 82573 is a direct-fit CARB-certified catalytic converter, an alternative to standard EPA-compliant models. Fits the 2000-2005 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable with the 3L V6. At 24.5 inches in overall length, this specific-application design integrates OE-style hangers, brackets, routings, and heat shields for straightforward installation without specialized fabrication or welding. The stainless steel construction uses a high-technology washcoat and OE-style precision coating process to deliver consistent emissions performance. The converter features thick OE-style flanges and connects through a 2 bolt loose flange with spherical flare inlet and 2 bolt welded flange outlet.
