Providing fade-free rear suspension control for BDS-lifted trucks, BDS Suspension FOX98224662 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP (internal floating piston) shock absorber built to pair with a BDS 4-inch lift suspension kit. Fits the 2000–2005 Ford Excursion. The one-piece body is 2-inch, impact extruded and CNC machined from 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum to resist rust over time, while a 5/8-inch hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft handles the load. The internal floating piston separates shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration so the factory-tuned, precision valving delivers consistent performance across the roughest conditions.
