These rear shock absorbers deliver on-road comfort and off-road control through FOX Performance Series 2.0 construction, part number FOX98224951 from BDS Suspension. Fits the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, and the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler. The mono-tube design houses an internal floating piston that separates shock oil from a high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration and maintaining consistent performance. Each shock is factory-tuned with precision valving custom-matched to work with BDS 2 to 3-inch lift suspension kits.
The shock body is built from 2-inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum with clear anodized finish to resist rust. The piston shaft measures 5/8-inch in diameter and is hard chrome plated and heat-treated alloy steel. The high-flow piston design manages suspension travel without fade across demanding terrain.
